"One of the best tribute acts we have had"

Duran Duran Experience

DURAN2 are taking a well deserved month off after a fantastic summer playing at festivals, including The Isle Of Wight Festival, and other exclusive outdoor events such as Birmingham Botanical Gardens (pictured above during pack down). But the pressure's not off as the band starts pre-production for their European theatre shows in October and November.

One of the hectic highlights was the show at Ladies Day for Fontwell Park Racecourse. It's easy for a band to hype themselves up but this what Simon Willians, Executive Director for Fontwell Park Racecourse, said of DURAN2:

“There has never been so many people in our Premier Concourse dancing at the same time. DURAN2 kept everyone on their feet after races and their professionalism was clear from the start. One of the best tribute acts we have had at Fontwell Racecourse with a true authentic tone. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.”

The band is now in pre-production for their European theatre shows later in the month, featuring some new "classic" songs as well as a few surprises, plus their exclusive video show. Discussions are already well under way for shows in 2016 and 2017.
