Duran Duran Tribute Band thrill 2,000 at OakFest

Duran Duran Experience

DURAN2, the country's most popular 80s tribute band to Duran Duran, thrilled over 2,000 festival goers at this year's OakFest in Telford with a packed set featuring some of the bands most popular hits from the last 30 years.

The band played a selection of the classic hits including Wild Boys, Hungry Like The Wolf and Ordinary World before ending the set with audience favourites, Girls On Film and, of course, Rio.

The festival also featured eighties hit band Bad Manners, 60s rockers The Troggs, and Bruce Foxton, the original bass player from The Jam, along with a host of local bands and a host of tribute acts.

You can check out photos from OakFest in our gallery, featuring special guest vocalist Gwyn Evans and keyboard player Darran Guy.
